MBP7 is a dual USB-C 3.1 to USB 3.0 hub with 4K HDMI output, PD passthrough charging port, SD & TF card readers, USB-C data port and TB3 video/data passthrough capabilities.
The two USB 3.0 and USB-C data ports allow you to connect your USB devices to the MacBook Pro, the TF & SD card readers allow you to access the external memory from the MacBook Pro. The USB-C female port supports TB3 passthrough, thus allowing 5K/4K 60Hz video signal passthrough, PD charging and up to 40Gbps of data transfer speed.
